80's metal ruled the night at the Century Casino Friday night. In an incredible double bill, Kick Axe opened the show with their well known hits such as Heavy Metal Shuffle and On the Road to Rock. Fans sang along and the gritty dual guitar riffs got the crowd primed and ready for round two.
The extremely high energy and hilarious banter had room rocking throughout the Killer Dwarfs entire set. One special moment was the hearing rarely heard Desperado played live, I even held the lyrics for Russ Graham while guitarist Gerry Finn tried to mess everything up, Russ still nailed it!
From crazy stage diving to mocking each other from backstage, these two bands are highly entertaining and would love to see them again.
