Je me demande qui peut bien attendre avec impatience la sortie du nouvel album de Kick Axe. S'inscrivant dans la lignée de leur précédent LP, "Welcome to the Club", ce "Rock the World" est d'une platitude désarmante.
Que dire sur ces compositions ternes et sans originalité? Aucun morceau ne se dégage de l'ensemble si ce n'est "Red Line" peut-étre. Passons vite sur la reprise de Fleetwood Mac ("The Chain"), qui n'apporte rien de plus á la version originale.
Pourtant assez bons musiciens (surtout le bassiste), les gars de Kick Axe pourraient sans probléme faire mieux (imaginez pire!). Pour cela, il faudrait qu'ils sortent de leur léthargie de toujours, mais ce n'est pas avec ce genre d'album qu'ils creeront la surprise. Ah! J'oubliais, la pochette est l'une des plus laides qu'il m'ait été donné de voir.
Décidément, Kick Axe semble vouloir á tout prix poursuivre sa fantomatique carriére.

I wonder who can look forward to the release of Kick Axe's new album. In line with their previous LP, "Welcome to the Club", this "Rock the World" is disarmingly flat.
What about these dull and unoriginal compositions? No song is released from the set except "Red Line" perhaps. Let's go quickly on the cover of Fleetwood Mac ("The Chain"), which brings nothing more to the original version.
Yet good musicians (especially the bass player), guys from Kick Axe could have no problem doing better (imagine worse!). For that, it would be necessary that they leave their lethargy of always, but it is not with this kind of album that they will create the surprise. Ah! I forgot, the cover is one of the ugliest I've ever seen.
Kick Axe seems to want to pursue his ghostly career anyway.
