I never really rated Kick Axe's debut but the band have definitely mellowed out. Ten seconds into the title song and and the change is extremely evident. "Feels Good Don't Stop" reminds me of ZEP with its chugging riff and big drum sound.

"Comin' After You" and "Never Let Go" are side ones highest moments. "Hellraisers" opens side two in fine heavy style and with a brilliant title like that how could it fail? "Too Loud...Too Old" is impressive with its quirky style of rock'n'roll.

"With A Little Help From My Friends" is hardly an apt number to cover but it's aided by guest appearances from: Rick Emmett, Lee Aaron, Cindy Valentine, Alfie Zappacosta and Coney Hatch's Andy Curran. A definitive change from their debut; perhaps a change that will prove fatal so early on in their recording career.
