Kick Axe, the Sakatchewan-developed rock band and semi-regulars at the A-Four nightclub, is hitting some new highs in the recording business.

Its album, Vices, produced by Spencer Proffer in Los Angeles, will soon be released on the CBS label and they have recorded a version of Thirty Days in the Hole for use on soundtrack of a motion picture, Up the Creek.

Four band members, Vic Langen, Ray Harvey, Brian and Larry Gillstrom are all from Regina and the fifth, George Criston, calls Milwaukee home.
