British heavy metal group Judas Priest played two concerts on its way through Colorado - one in Denver last Friday night, and another at the State Fairgrounds in Pueblo on Sunday.

Also on the bill was a new band by the name of Kick Axe. And that is exactly what they did - kicked axe! Although I missed them altogether in Pueblo, I did witness their straight-forward approach to rock' n' roll in Denver on July 20.

Watch for these guys to make headway through the modern record market, providing they get the airplay they deserve.
