The Playboy Street Rock is a compilation featuring the winners of the Playboy magazine's 1981 Music Poll. The artists included in this album were selected from hundreds of entries received from upcoming new talent representing various cities and regions of the U.S.A. and Canada.

Kick Axe's song "Reality Is The Nightmare" was recorded in following line-up: Larry Gillstrom - guitars, Raymond Arthur Harvey - guitars, Victor Langen - bassguitar, Brian Gillstrom - drums and Charles McNary - vocals.
