CRISTON/HARVEY: Natural Progression (Parlay)

Two of the founder members of Kickaxe reunite for a mixed bag of mostly '70s rock styles, which is a natural progression of sorts from the '70s-style heavy metal for which George Criston and Ray Harvey were known. The mixed bag more naturally produces mixed results from boogies and ballads such as Touch My Heart, Midnight Train and Heartbeat that show off the duo's accomplished musicianship and arranging skills to the cliched, forced point of view of Modern Day Outlaw and woeful Misty Eyed Lady.
