Kick Axe: Vices (Pasha)

A fivesome from Regina who claim to have invented "heady metal" deserves to make inroads in the hard rock field. Sounding a little like Bachman-Turner

Overdrive and AC/DC, the band nevertheless have an individual sound that is jazz-influenced. The group, George Criston, lead vocals, Larry Gillstrom, guitar, Ray Harvey, guitar, Brian Gillstrom, drums, and Victor Langen, bass, should not have been so

eager to slot themselves in with the heavy metal crowd (see album cover) because the music belongs to a wider audience.
